A diagram of sticker placement for Time Trials Nationals can be found here: Time Trials Nationals Decal Placement

C. TECHNICAL INSPECTION: All vehicles must be presented at tech to turn in tech forms and pass the event safety inspection (Tech) if required prior to any on-course participation. Tech may also check event sponsor decal requirements and verify compliance of Vehicle Identification. Competitors are cautioned that vehicle/identification color combinations such as red/black, red/blue, and white/silver do not have adequate contrast.

D. TIMING & SCORING: All cars are required to use fully operational MyLaps/AMB TranX260 or X2 transponders. The driver is responsible for providing correct information to Timing & Scoring. Non-functioning transponders will likely result in the loss of times.

1. PADDOCK

A. Competition Vehicle Parking: There will be a designated area for SCCA Time Trials National Tour Competitors. This area will be posted closer to the event.

B. Spectator/Crew Parking: Spectator and crew parking is very limited in the paddock area. Ride sharing and race team cooperation are appreciated.

C. EMERGENCY LANES: Keep all lanes in the paddock open at all times. This is necessary so that emergency vehicles of all sorts can fulfill their duties. If you leave a vehicle blocking an emergency lane, it will be removed without warning.

2. PROVISIONS

A. Racing Fuel: Road Atlanta has automatic (credit card) pumps for both unleaded (98 octane) and leaded (110 & 112 octane) VP racing gas. While these pumps are normally available throughout the weekend, at a recent event the phone lines failed and the pumps failed to operate. Should this happen again we will make every effort to resolve the situation, but participants would be well served to plan ahead to ensure they have adequate fuel for the weekend. There ARE alternate sources of racing fuel in the vicinity.

B. Medical Facility: If you are sick or injured, please check with the medical staff. They will treat you as needed and process necessary paperwork. SCCA insurance will not pay if you do not have the paperwork processed. The facility is located at the beginning of pit lane.

3. GENERAL RULES

A. Property Damage: Road Atlanta and/or SCCA-Atlanta may hold drivers responsible for damages to property. Drivers continually cutting apexes in the grass may be held financially responsible for repairs and may be penalized.

B. Participant, Crew, Guest Conduct and Intoxicants: Any participant using intoxicants before their race group or assigned duties are over each day is subject to disqualification from the event and ejection from the property. Use of illegal drugs is specifically prohibited at all times during the event. Anyone using illegal drugs is subject to disqualification and ejection from the property. Drivers are responsible for their crew. Workers are responsible for their guests. Impound and Registration are race activities. Smoking is prohibited indoors as well as in Tech, Grid, Pit Lane, and within 20 feet of the Media Center/Tower.

C. Pavement and Wastes: Per Road Atlanta policy: Do not drive stakes into the pavement. Always use wood blocks or metal plates to prevent pavement damage from jacks and jack stands. Do not spill oil, coolant, or fuel onto pavement or ground. Receptacles for waste oil and for coolant are available in the tech shed. Please make provision for removing from the premises any used tires, fuel, brake fluid, solvents, hazardous waste products, and batteries. If you do have an accidental spill, please call for the Race Chairman.

D. Restricted Hours: Hall County ordinance prohibits running race engines between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM. It also prohibits running race engines during the hours from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon on Sundays. Pets are allowed only in the paddock area and must be leashed at all times when not inside a vehicle. No glass containers are allowed on the property. Skateboards, passenger-carrying wagons and skates are prohibited in the paddock, pit and grid areas. The operation of any vehicle by persons not holding a valid State Operator’s Permit is prohibited. The team at Racers360 works to improve the driving experience using drivers’ own on-board videos to coach. You’ve seen sports commentators use replays and on-screen drawing tools to talk through plays, right? Same idea, different application! This is especially helpful when you can send in a lap video from day 1 and get their coaching video back in time to review for your sessions on day 2. That’s why we are thrilled to partner with Racers360 for the Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials National Tour presented by Hagerty and bring nearly instant and in-depth coaching to our participants.

The idea is simple- drivers send in their lap video, a Racers360 coach reviews it, and makes a response video with overlaid footage of them talking you through each part of your lap and where you can improve your approach to shave off valuable seconds. Each coaching video is about 20 minutes and is yours to keep so you can watch it over and over again to get that lap perfect. And these aren’t amateur coaches we’re talking about. These are seasoned professionals who have been there, done that, AND got the trophies! Names like Memo Gidley, Mike Skeen, Peter Krause, and Pippa Mann, just to give you an idea.  Curious how it all comes together? Check out an example of their coaching videos HERE.

Interested in getting some coaching from the Racers360 team? You can purchase sessions when you register for TTNT events.  They have offers and packages tailored for the TTNT crowd:

One Lap Analysis (same day turn around time): $149 - Simply send in video from any device and a coach will breakdown your driving corner by corner with an in-depth coaching session.  We turn your roughly 2 minute lap video into a 15 minute coaching session where coaches focus on driving techniques specific to the experience level you have, the car you drive and the track you are driving on.  Must be purchased a minimum of 5 days ahead of your on track session.

Data Analysis (same day turn around time) - $199 - Send in data of one session from any data logger system and a coach will review your data and film a data analysis coaching session giving you specific ways you can improve.  Must be purchased a minimum of 5 days ahead of your on track session.

Personal Coaching Package - $269 - This package includes 2 one lap analysis with same day analysis videos with a 10% discount.  You are guaranteed to have the same coach with both videos! Must be purchased a minimum of 5 days ahead of your on track session.

Check out all the options and book your session before your event!
